What if I told you that you had dropped a 10 dollar bill on the ground? Would you pick it up? Of course you would.

Now imagine dropping 2 or 3 of those 10 dollar bills a month. At that point you would fix that hole in your pocket wouldn't you?

The average family in the United States spends $1300 a year on household energy. Another $1500 a year on gasoline at a price of $2.75 per gallon. Now here is where that hole in your pocket comes in. As much as half of that energy you purchase everday is wasted! How is that possible? I mean after all it gets used or I would not have to pay for it. True, and furthermore greenenergydude.com is not about telling you how to live afterall it is your money. But looking at the numbers. If you were to eliminate 25% of the waste you would eliminate $700 in energy costs. If your really good and manage to eliminate all of your waste you would save $1400 dollars a year on average. $1400 dollars. What could you do with $1400 dollars?

This is where I come in. I am scouring the web everyday looking for Ideas, tips, tricks, do it yourself video and ebooks, facts, and anything else available, to teach anyone willing to learn how to save money on energy.

Not only will I tell you ways to cut your energy bills, I will show you using video and ebooks. I mean its easy to say 'replace your themostat with a programable thermostat' . But here I will show you how to do it yourself. Saving you even more money because you have no need to bring in an outside contractor.
